Rod Dreher (WJI speaker 03) was selected for the Templeton-Cambridge Fellowhips, in which journalists "examine key areas in the broad field of science and religion through independent research as well as seminars and discussion groups." Dreher is an editorial columnist at the Dallas Morning News and a religion, culture, and politics blogger on Beliefnet.

Manny Garcia (WJI teacher 05-09) is moving from his position as senior news editor at The Miami Herald to become executive editor of El Nuevo Herald, the McClatchy-owned Spanish-language daily in Miami.

Matt Laslo (WJI 05) blogs regularly about Congress and the Obama Administration for Capitol News Connection on their Ask Your Lawmaker website. Read his blog here.

Rachel Motte (WJI 04) was published by CNNPolitics.com with her commentary about Rush Limbaugh's influence. Motte blogs at evangelicaloutpost.com and writes for Wheatstone Academy, a Christian educational program for high school students.
