Elbert Chu (‘09) is working this summer as a WJI-funded intern at Popular Science magazine. Chu is a master’s candidate at the City University of New York’s School of Journalism, focused on health and science multimedia. He can be reached at connect@elbertchu.com.

Jeremy Hunt (‘03) has been hired as manager of corporate social media at Novant Health. He lives in the Charlotte, N.C., area with his wife April and two daughters, and they eagerly await their third child this Christmas. Chelsea Kolz (‘12) is reporting and writing as an intern this summer for World magazine. Kolz is a rising senior at Patrick Henry College and can be reached at chelseakolz@gmail.com.

Mira Lowe (guest teacher ‘05-09) has a new job as senior editor for features at CNN Digital. She and her husband Herbert Lowe (guest speaker ‘04-07) are authors of the WJI monograph “Heart and Soul,” which is part of WJI’s Samuel Cornish Lecture Series. She can be reached at miralowe@mac.com.
