WJI Buzz - Hackett, D'Souza, Skold, Scott

Kara Hackett (‘12) is a WJI-funded summer intern at the Fort Wayne (Ind.) News-Sentinel. Hackett is a student at Taylor University.

Dinesh D’Souza co-directed and co-wrote a new documentary film called 2016 Obama’s America, which is based on his book The Roots of Obama’s Rage. The film was produced by the Oscar-winning Gerald Molen and will be shown in theaters across the country August 10. D’Souza is a NY Times bestselling author and president of The King’s College, the host campus of World Journalism Institute.

Jeffery Scott (‘09) is a production assistant in the content associate program at ESPN. His duties include writing, as well as gathering and cutting video. Scott is a graduate of Liberty University.

Heather Skold (02) was recognized with two Emmys for a story she wrote about fallen peace officers and their families for KRDO-TV (Colorado Springs), where she is an anchor. Skold is a graduate of Wheaton College.
