Catherine Rogers ('11) has been chosen to be one of three interns for WORLD on Campus. She will have the highest byline count on the website as she will be writing 3 articles a week, keeping up with a regular beat of higher education and generating story ideas for other WORLD on Campus writers. Andrew Ferguson, a longtime WJI speaker and seminar leader at WJI’s 2012 Top Grad Conference in October in Washington, D.C., has been selected to kick-off the 2012 Speaker’s Series for the Indiana University School of Journalism on September 24. Andy is a senior editor at The Weekly Standard. He is the author of Crazy U: One Dad's Crash Course in Getting His Kid into College, which will be a new motion picture starring Will Ferrell. WJI will again be hosting the journalism seminar at the quadrennial InterVarsity Urbana conference in St. Louis. At Urbana 12, Robert Case, WJI founder and director, will be speaking at the media seminar entitled “Called to Journalism.” WJI has participated in the last three Urbana gatherings. Urbana is the largest gathering of Christian student missionaries in the world. Dr. Case’s email is bcase@worldji.com.

Anne Reiner (‘12) is attending the Washington Journalism Center (Washington, D.C.) this semester. She has an internship with Baptist Press in Washington. Anne is a student at Geneva College and her email is anne.reinerk@gmail.com.
