WJI 2018 Blog Day 6, AM: Radio Regards

May 23, 2018

Joshua Meribole

We all sat waiting patiently for our radio pieces to be played. Some of us nervous, others just tired from doing late night edits. Our 90-minute radio pieces did not seem to be played in any particular order.
Yesterday, each of us made a podcast piece and this morning listened to each other's pieces. We were given feedback regarding each piece. It was interesting to see what perspective people took for each piece. Some Students even manage to include humor in their piece. Even thought my piece was not played, it was interested to hear the feedback that student got.
From listening to the piece, you could really get the power of radio, and the effect that it can have especially getting you to react. I have learnt a lot by listening to the critic of professionals.
