David Aikman

David Aikman is a senior fellow of the Trinity Forum, an author and a former 23-year veteran foreign correspondent with Time magazine. The most recent of his seven books to date is Billy Graham:  His Life and Influence.  An earlier book, Great Souls:  Six Who Changed the Century, was the basis of a six-part PBS series with the same name. Aikman was the reporter for an earlier documentary, "Vanishing Peace: the Aftermath of Oslo," an account of Israeli-Palestinian tensions which aired worldwide on BBC television in 1999. Aikman currently lives in northern Virginia and is Associate Professor of History and Writer in Residence at Patrick Henry College.  He is also an editorial commentator for the Salem Radio Network, a frequent participant in current affairs discussions on Voice of America and a contributing editor of The American Spectator. David was born in England and educated at Oxford University (B.A. with honors in Russian
and French). He later came to the U.S. and earned an M.A. in Central Asian languages and a Ph.D. in Russian and Chinese history from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a U.S. citizen.
