Donald Boykin


Don Boykin is deputy managing editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution where he oversees the Sports, Features, Photo, News Art and Editing and Presentation departments. He has a staff of 270. Don, who has been at newspapers since 1973, directed coverage of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillihammer, Norway, and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He has been part of the AJC's coverage of multiple World Series and Super Bowls. The Sports department consistently has been considered one of the best in the country with emphasis on coverage of professional sports, college, high school, NASCAR, high schools, as well as a commitment to investigative and enterprise reporting.
