WJI Annual Top Grad Conference

This highly selective conference is for 15 WJI alumni graduates only. The conference is an all-expense paid weekend in October in Washington, DC at the Dupont Hotel. A series of seminars and meals is held in conjunction with the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington with EPPC Vice President Michael Cromartie acting as conference moderator.

Description

  This unique conference begins on Thursday afternoon, October 4 at 2:00 with private editorial sessions with top editors. Thursday evening there is a reception and dinner with speakers. Friday morning, noon and evening there are sessions, and Saturday morning, October 6 is the final session.

Speakers include Fred Barnes (Weekly Standard), Brit Hume (FOX), Claudia Anderson (Weekly Standard), Mark Tapscott (Washington Examiner), Ross Douthat (New York Times), Carl Cannon (PoliticsDaily.com), Andrew Ferguson (Weekly Standard), and Drew Bratcher (Washingtonian and Ethnotraveler).

Editors for the Thursday tutorial include Russ Pulliam (Indianapolis Star), Claudia Anderson (Weekly Standard) and Lee Pitts (WORLD magazine) and Les Sillars (Patrick Henry College).
